Convert your 1949 Dodge 1 Ton, 1/2 Ton, or 3/4 Ton Truck from 6 to 12 volts effortlessly with our complete conversion kit. This master set includes everything you need to ensure a smooth transition, while keeping your original 6-volt starter intact. The conversion kit includes:
- 100 amp internally regulated alternator with 5/8" pulley
- Generator to alternator bracket
- 2 wire hook-up kit
- 10 AWG battery connection wire
- 12 volt coil
- Horn relay
- Headlight relay
- Gas gauge reducer
- Alternator output fuse
- Wiper motor reducer (if needed)
- Heater reducer
- All interior and exterior 12 volt light bulbs
- Turn signal flasher
Designed specifically for your Dodge or Fargo Truck, this kit also includes a 17-page instruction book and FAQs. Just follow the directions, bolt up the components, and replace the bulbs. Note: A special radio reducer is required for 6-volt radios, and early 6-volt clocks need an upgrade for 12-volt operation. You supply the 12-volt battery.
