This 6 to 12-Volt Electric Conversion Kit is designed specifically for your 1939 Dodge models D-11, D-12, and D-13. It allows you to upgrade your classic Dodge's electrical system from positive to negative ground while keeping the original 6-volt starter intact. All components will function seamlessly with the new setup. The kit is comprehensive, covering nearly everything needed for the conversion. Just follow the instructions, bolt on the components, and replace the bulbs.
- 100 amp internally regulated alternator with 5/8" pulley
- Generator to alternator bracket
- 2 wire hook-up kit
- 10 AWG battery connection wire
- 12 volt coil
- Horn relay
- Headlight relay
- Gas gauge reducer
- Alternator output fuse, wiper motor reducer, heater reducer
- All interior and exterior 12-volt light bulbs fitting original sockets
- Turn signal flasher
The package includes a 17-page instruction manual and a FAQ section. Note that a special radio reducer is needed for 6-volt radios, and early 6-volt clocks require professional upgrading. This kit does not include a 12-volt battery.
