Shipping Charges

For United States delivery (48 states) please add 10% (minimum $8.00) of the total parts order. Some smaller orders cannot be shipped for the minimum shipping charge, so we may need to increase that charge.  For Canada, Alaska and Hawaii, please add 20% (minimum $15.00) of the total to cover postage. We insure all packages for their full value at no extra charge.  Minimum credit card order is $25.00. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Shipping Services

We ship over 96% of our orders within twenty-four hours of receipt via United Parcel Service or Priority Mail.  If you are in a hurry and need your parts in one or two days, be sure to phone in your order and it can usually be sent to you using one or two day air service. There is an additional cost for air service.

Return Policy

Any part * * may be returned for any reason, uninstalled, in the condition in which it was sent, within a period of thirty (30) days from shipment. We do, however, request that you call and tell us why the part doesn't suit you. Upon return of the part and invoice, we will, at your option, issue credit or refund to you the full purchase price of the item.

Warranty

Andy Bernbaum Auto Parts warrants only the acceptance for refund or credit any part purchased in accordance with the above refund policy. We are not responsible for use or misuse of parts sold. Neither the seller nor the manufacturer is liable for loss, injury or damage arising directly or indirectly from the use of said products. User assumes all risks and liability of the products purchased.

Core Charge

On a few parts we require your old parts for rebuilding or relining purposes. A core charge is a deposit on these items. Please add the core charge to your order in the space provided at the bottom of the order blank. You may send in your old core with your order and eliminate the need for the charge.

Damaged Packages

Although we do everything possible to protect the contents, occasionally a package is damaged during shipment. If your package arrives in damaged condition, open it immediately and inspect it for damages. If the contents are damaged, please notify us and UPS immediately. We will give you complete instructions for return. Do not ship the damaged merchandise back to us without calling first, as you will lose all chance for recourse. Naturally we hope that your package arrives in perfect condition, but if you are the victim of careless package handlers, let us know!

Distributor Number Location

Distributor numbers are located on an oval plate on the side of the distributor housing. Please specify the Autolite number when ordering electrical parts.

Serial Number Location

Up to 1942, Vehicle Identification Numbers are located on the right front forward doorpost. 1946 and later Vehicle Identification Numbers are located on the left front forward doorpost.

Engine Number Location

For Six and Straight Eight cylinder engines, the engine number is located behind the water pump on the left side near the top of the block in a raised section.
